Recently, a delegation of university teachers from Azerbaijan visited China for a week-long training and exchange program.
Upon arriving in Beijing, the delegation was accommodated and prepared for their stay. During the program, an opening ceremony and campus tour were successfully held. Two thematic lectures focused on the development of education in China, digital campus management, and teacher capacity building. Both sides also held educational seminars to exchange teaching experiences.
The practical study tour component was rich and fulfilling, with the team visiting smart education companies and several distinctive universities to learn about domestic educational achievements and smart education initiatives. Cultural experiences were integrated throughout the trip: climbing the Badaling Great Wall, visiting the Summer Palace, and touring the China Arts and Crafts Museum to appreciate traditional crafts; experiencing Chinese manufacturing in shopping malls, and visiting the Temple of Heaven, Qianmen, Yandaixie Street, and the Drum Tower, immersing themselves in the culture of royal gardens and old city hutongs.
This training program integrated theoretical learning, industry visits, and cultural exploration, enabling participating teachers to gain a comprehensive understanding of China’s educational development, traditional culture, and achievements in modernization. It also deepened mutual understanding between the Chinese and Azerbaijan education communities and built a friendly bridge for future educational cooperation between the two countries.
